Darden Bynum, M.A., M.S.W., is a licensed clinical social worker, psychotherapist and life coach based in Atlanta, GA with experience in various settings: public and private practice, state and county governments, non-profits, and private consulting. His practice of psychotherapy brings together different disciplines for functional solutions.
Darden’s work with couples and individuals also draws upon diverse methodologies. He combines Eastern traditions, like meditation, and Western practices, such as cognitive therapy and collaborative law. Clients set their own goals and realize results within a reasonable amount of time. He uses the principles of positive reinforcement to help people get results. He is both a collaborative coach and child specialist in collaborative law.
Darden works with diverse clients, including: families, troubled and abused adolescents, victims, people of minority groups, especially sexual minorities, and displaced children. He served for two years as the Clinical Director of CHRIS Kids, a private non-profit in Atlanta and is currently affiliated with the Collaborative Law Center-Atlanta.
In his free time, he coaches a high school Ultimate Frisbee team.
